HAMAS FAI-UMI Peduli Korban Bencana Enrekang
Enrekang, Cakrawalaide.com – Himpunan Mahasiswa Syari’ah (HAMAS) Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), yang tergabung dalam peduli korban bencana Enrekang turun lansung membawa donasi ke rumah salah satu warga korban bencana, Senin (6/5/2019)
Beberapa waktu yang lalu bencana banjir, serta longsor merendam dua kecamatan di kabupaten Enrekang yaitu Enrekang, dan Cendana. Akibat meluapnya sungai saddang, dan mata allo karena curah hujan yang tinggi selama beberapa hari.
“Ya jadi itu ada dua kecamatan yg kena banjir Enrekang sama Cendana karena disebelah sana itu ada dua sungai yg meluap,” tutur reza salah satu warga yang juga menjadi korban.
Reza menambahkan bahwa sebenarnya bantuan banjir untuk daerah Enrekang kota, dan Cendana itu sudah melebihi dari cukup. Tapi ada beberapa kecamatan yang berada di pinggir gunung, sampai saat ini masih membutuhkan bantuan salah satunya itu kecamatan baraka yaitu Desa Kadingeh, dan Desa Tiktok.
“Kalau disini bantuannya cukup karena dekat dari kota, tapi ada desa yang dari sini itu sekitar dua jam lebih dan disana itu parah karena pinggir gunung dan longsor,” sambung reza.
Reza sebagai warga lokal sekaligus korban juga mengapresiasi teman-teman dari HAMAS FAI-UMI dan mengucapkan banyak terimah kasih.
“Saya ini sebagai warga disini berterimah kasih sekali ada bantuan dari teman-teman, dan Insya Allah donasinya, akan saya bawa ke lokasi yg lebih membutuhkan,” tambah reza.
Karena lokasi warga yang jauh, jadi mahasiswa yang membawakan donasi hanya menitipkan amanah kepada warga sekitar.
“Seharusnya ini kami yang bawa donasi ke lokasi yg membutuhkan tapi karena situasi tidak memungkinkan jadi diamanahkan saja apalagi lokasinya jauh baru tengah malam,” tutur Adi Wijaya selaku Ketua HAMAS.
Lanjut, Jaya sapaan akrab Ketua HAMAS, juga mengucapkan permohonan maaf, karena tidak bisa mengantarkan donasi secara langsung.
Sebagai penutup jaya juga menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan hari ini selain sebagai program kerja, untuk himpunan juga sebagai proses baik untuk menyambut bulan Ramadan dan Ibadah Puasa esok harinya.
“ini sebagai pembukaan bulan puasa membantu sesama toh,” tutup Jaya.
