Momentum AMARAH, 16 Personil Polisi Dampingi Massa Aksi
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Terkait surat edaran yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak kampus UMI pada momentum April Makassar Berdarah (AMARAH), pihak keamanan arahkan 16 personil untuk menjaga keamanan di kampus II UMI, Rabu (24/04/2019).
Menurut AKP Muhammad Tang, ia dan 16 personil polisi diperintahkan untuk mengawasi mahasiswa yang akan melakukan aksi.
“Kita mendampingi adik-adik yang ingin keluar. Disini, kita hanya mengawasi karena jangan sampai terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan,” ujar Tang.
Menurut WR III, Prof Laode Husein, suasana kampus harus tetap terjaga sehingga pihak kampus mendatangkan pihak keamanan, “suasana kampus harus tetap terjaga,” ujar Laode saat dihubungi awak Cakrawalaide.com via telepon.
Dalam hal ini, pihak keamanan kampus juga ikut mengamankan mahasiswa yang melakukan aksi “bentuk pengamanannya biasa-biasa saja dinda, jadi tidak ada masalah,” tutur kepala keamanan UMI, Syamsir.
